- Type I interferons (IFN-alpha, IFN-beta, IFN-omega) bind to the type I IFN receptor, also called the IFN alpha/beta receptor. This receptor is composed of two chains, IFN-alpha / beta R1 and R2. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 0.1-1ug/ml using recombinant human IFN-alpha / beta R1, HeLa human cervical epithelial carcinoma cell line, K562 human chronic myelogenous leukemia cell line Flow Cytometry: 2.5ug labels 10e6 cells in U937 human histiocytic lymphoma cell line Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
