- Extra Details:
- Integrin beta 8 (Integrin b8) is a 90kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein of the Integrin family of adhesion molecules. It associates with Integrin aV to form a receptor for vitronectin, fibrin, and the latency associated peptide (LAP). Binding to LAP promotes the proteolytic release of active TGF-b from LAP. Integrin aVb8 is required for vascular morphogenesis in the embryonic brain and yolk sac. Within the extracellular domain, human Integrin b8 shares 87% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat Integrin b8. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 10ul/10e6 cells. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
