Anti-Goat IgG generated in rabbit detects goat Immunoglobulin G. It is a protein complex composed of four peptide chains - two identical heavy chains and two identical light chains arranged in a Y-shape typical of antibody monomers. Each IgG has two antigen binding sites. Representing approximately 75% of serum immunoglobulins, IgG is the most abundant antibody isotype found in the circulation. IgG molecules are synthesized and secreted by plasma B cells. Secondary Antibodies are available in a variety of formats and conjugate types. When choosing a secondary antibody product, consideration must be given to species and immunoglobulin specificity, conjugate type, fragment and chain specificity, level of cross-reactivity, and host-species source and fragment composition. Anti-Goat IgG Antibody Pre-Adsorbed is conjugated to horseradish peroxidase.

ELISA Results of Rabbit Anti-Goat IgG mx3 Antibody Peroxidase Conjugated. Each well was coated in duplicate with 10 ug of Goat IgG (p/n 005-0102). The working dilution of Goat IgG mx3 HRP is 1:91,000. The starting dilution of antibody was 5ug/ml and the X-axis represents the Log10 of a 3-fold dilution. This titration is a 4-parameter curve fit where the IC50 is defined as the titer of the antibody. Assay performed using 3% Fish Gel/PBS Blocking buffer (p/n MB-066), Goat IgG mx3 HRP conjugated and TMB substrate (p/n TMBE-1000).
