Among these peptides are ACTH,A Alpha- and B Beta-MSH,B Beta-and G Gamma-LPH,CLIP,B Beta-endorphin,and N-POMC. POMC is involved in hypothalamic circuits regulating feeding behavior and POMC-producing neurons promote satiety.
