- Recognizes the rat LFA-1 (lymphocyte function associated molecule-1) beta chain (CD18; 95-100kD) which is associated with the alpha chain (CD11a; 160-70kD). Therefore, this monoclonal antibody recognizes Mac-1 and gp150/95 as well as LFA-1. Inhibits homotypic aggregation of PHA blasts.It also blocks binding of rat lymphocytes to purified rat ICAM-1.
