- Rat IgE is generated by a spontaneous immunocytoma isolated from a LOU/Wsl rat (Bazin 1974, Bazin & Beckers 1974). The determinant recognized by IgE clone IR162 appears to be shared byseveral helminthic parasites, including Anisakis simplex, Clonorchis sinensis and Toxocara canis (Cho et al. 2000).
