Enterodiol is transformed by human intestinal bacteria from lignans contained in various whole-grain cereals; nuts; legumes; flaxseed; and vegetables. Enterodiol has an apoptotic effect in colorectal cancer (CRC) cells. Enterodiol has anti-cancer activities[1][2].
