CotH3 peptide–targeted monoclonal antibodies protect immunosuppressed mice from mucormycosis caused by R. delemar and other Mucorales. CotH3 peptide also synergizes with antifungal drugs to protect mice with diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) from R. delemar infection[1].
