(S)-Elobixibat decreases LDL cholesterol; increases serum GLP-1; promotes colon motility; and has the potential to study metabolic syndrome. (S)-Elobixibat can be used to study constipation; dyslipidemia; non-alcoholic hepatitis; and liver tumors[1][2][3].
