- 2′-O-2-Propyn-1-ylguanosine is a guanosine analogue. Some guanosine analogs have immunostimulatory activity. In some animal models; they also induce type I interferons; producing antiviral effects. Studies have shown that the functional activity of guanosine analogs is dependent on the activation of Toll-like receptor 7 (TLR7)[1]. 2′-O-2-Propyn-1-ylguanosine is a click chemistry reagent; it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
