Telinavir inhibits lymphotropic; monocytotropic strains and field isolates of HIV type 1 (HIV-1); HIV-2; and simian immunodeficiency virus with EC50s of 26 ng/mL (43 nM). Telinavir is highly protein bound in human plasma and exhibits low partitioning into erythrocytes[1].
