- The peptide pool is recommended for enumeration of the number of cytokine secreting T cells specific for CyCMV TP-UL83 and rhCMV Rh112 with ELISpot/FluoroSpot. The peptide pool has been validated in IFN-G Gamma ELISpot and FluoroSpot using PBMC from cynomolgus macaque and rhesus macaque. The scanning pool consists of 133 peptides derived from cynomolgus macaque cytomegalovirus (CyCMV) Tegument phosphoprotein UL83 (Uniprot ID: G8H1B8) and 133 peptides derived from rhesus macaque cytomegalovirus (rhCMV) Rh112 (Uniprot ID: Q772N2). The peptides are 15-mers overlapping with 11 amino acids and cover the complete proteins. The mean purity of the peptides is 83%.|Validated for our assays.|This peptide pool is intended for studying immune responses in rhesus and cynomolgus macaques against CyCMV TP-UL83 and rhCMV Rh112 using immunoassays such as ELISpot and FluoroSpot. The peptide pool induces cytokine secretion from antigen-specific CD4 and CD8 T cells. For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
