- The human latent TGF-B Beta1 ELISA Flex kit is ideal for users who want the flexibility of setting up their own ELISA assay. This product enables quantification of human latent TGF-B Beta1 in solution, e.g. in cell culture supernatant. The kit contains a matched pair of monoclonal capture and detection antibodies, Streptavidin-ALP, ELISA standard and standard reconstitution buffer. Plates and substrate are not included. TGF-B Beta1 is secreted in a latent, biologically inactive form, non-covalently linked with a Latency Associated Protein (LAP). The monoclonal antibodies MT593 and MT517-biotin bind to the LAP entity of human latent TGF-B Beta1. This enables direct quantification of latent TGF-B Beta1 in ELISA with no need of sample pre-treatment.
