- Each Path kit is specialized for the detection of an antigen-specific response. This unique combination of antigen with immunoassay is validated by scientists at Mabtech. This assay enables enumeration of cells secreting IFN-G Gamma in response to human adenovirus 5 (hADV5) peptides. The Adenovirus 5 hexon peptide pool contains 94 peptides derived from the hAdV5 hexon protein. It consists of both defined and scanning peptides. The scanning peptides are 15-mers overlapping with 11 amino acids. Together, these peptides cover immunodominant regions of the hAdV5 hexon protein that share sequence homology to human adenovirus 26 and chimpanzee adenovirus Y25. The mean purity of the synthetic peptides is 80%.|A straightforward setup for functional analysis of a specific scientific question.|This ELISpot Path kit is intended for the enumeration of cells secreting human IFN-G Gamma in response to Adenovirus 5 hexon peptides using the ELISpot assay.
