- The PuroMAG™ Endo-Free Plasmid MIDIprep Kit is designed to provide a simple and easy-to-use method for large-scale extraction and purification of endotoxin-free plasmid DNA from cultured bacterial cells. This purification technology is based on plasmid binding to silica-coated magnetic beads, which allows for efficient removal of genomic DNA, protein, salt, and other contaminants. Following the lysis steps, endotoxins are removed using the Endotoxin Removal Buffer ERB. Endo-Free Plasmid MIDIprep Kit can be used to purify plasmid DNA from up to 100 mL of overnight bacterial culture. PuroMAG™ Endo-Free Plasmid MIDIprep Kit can purify up to 200 µg of plasmid DNA while keeping endotoxin levels at <0.1 EU/µg. The PuroMAG™ buffer formulations produce highly purified plasmid DNA for downstream applications, such as transfection, enzymatic digestion, or PCR.
