Reacts with all human classical MHC Class I molecules in native cell surface forms as well as with human HLA-G cDNA transfected cells. Completely blocks binding of standard pan MHC Mab W6/32. Does not block binding of Mab MEM-G/9 to surface-expressed HLA-G. Cross-reacts with bovine MHC Class I molecules.
