- Endogenous Peroxidase Blocker is designed to quench endogenous peroxidase activity in tissues or cells during immunohistochemistry (IHC); immunocytochemistry (ICC); in situ hybridization (ISH); and TSA-based multiplex immunofluorescence (mIHC). Endogenous peroxidase is widely distributed in certain cells and tissues—e.g.; erythrocytes; kidney; and liver—where it can generate high background or false-positive signals. Therefore; tissue or cell samples should be treated with an appropriate peroxidase blocker before staining to eliminate this interference. This product is ready-to-use; no preparation or dilution is required.
