Mutations in this gene result in disorders of male secondary sexual character development; including familial male precocious puberty; also known as testotoxicosis; hypogonadotropic hypogonadism; Leydig cell adenoma with precocious puberty; and male pseudohermaphtoditism with Leydig cell hypoplasia.
