- ATP synthase is comprised of 2 major units the Fo and F1. Five different subunits make up the F1 unit: 3 I+/- 3 B Beta 1 I' 1 I³ and 1 Iu subunits. The I+/- and B Beta subunit are localized to the mitochondrial and plasma membranes and the B Beta subunit is thought to be involved in the satiation response through binding to enterostatin.Applications Western Blots Visualize the alpha subunits in cells (immunofluorescence) and tissue (immunohistochemistry)Storage Store at 4 °C for up to 30 days.
