Interference and cross-reactivity of human beta- and gamma-synuclein was assessed by spiking each protein at excess concentration of 20 ng/mL into two human plasma samples, each diluted 1:10 and 1:20, in comparison to unspiked samples. Cross-reactivity was calculated based on increase or decrease of apparent A Alpha-synuclein concentrations in spiked samples.
