Type II OSM receptor (gp130/OSMRB Beta) is a heterodimer composed of gp130 and OSM receptor B Beta subunit. The type II receptor has OSM specificity. This receptor triggers the activation of associated Janus kinases (JAKs), leading primarily to the phosphorylation and activation of the Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 3 (STAT3) pathway.
