- The antibody is specific for ApoA1. The antibody detects the HDL subtype negatively correlated with CHD and, it does not cross react with irrelevant proteins such as SAA1, B Beta2M and BSA. Apolipoprotein A1 (ApoA1) is the main structural protein of high-density lipoprotein (HDL), and its physiological function is to help HDL capture free cholesterol.
