- This antibody recognizes human mutant H-, K-, and N-Ras proteins. This antibody may also react with other Ras mutants with a hydrophobic amino acid (V, A, C, H, I, L, M, Y, T, N, Q) at position 12 (PMID: 9440050). This ras protein binds GDP/GTP and possess intrinsic GTPase activity, that results in conversion of nucleotide guanosine triphosphate (GTP) into guanosine diphosphate (GDP). This protein
