- This antibody binds human PAI-1 at an epitope between amino acids 277 and 327, more particularly it binds residues between Arg300, Gln303 and Asp305 located on the loop between A Alpha-helix I and B Beta-strand 5A. This antibody cross-reacts with pig PAI-1 but not with mouse or rat. Plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1), is a serine protease inhibitor, a unique member of the serpin superfamily
