- Specificity:
- This antibody binds human IL-1R1 and cynomolgus monkey IL-1R1 but does not cross react with mouse IL-1R1. This antibody binds an epitope containing amino acids in a discontinuous epitope of 33 amino acids in three regions of human IL-1R1; N123-V134, L140-K157 and K178-R180. The human IL-1R1 protein acts as a receptor for IL1A, IL1B and IL1RN.
