- This antibody is reported to bind amino acids 306-339 of the immunodominant loop structure of the glycoprotein E of tick-borne encephalitis virus. The antibody does not cross react with other flaviviruses. Tick-borne encephalitis virus (TBEV) is a member of the tick-borne flaviviruses (TBFVs) in the family Flaviviridae which cause encephalomeningitis and encephalitis in humans and other animals.
