- This antibody is specific for calf thymus ATPase A and recognizes bovine, human, and mouse homologs. Calf ATPaseA is a TP-dependent annealing helicase that binds selectively to fork DNA relative to ssDNA or dsDNA and catalyzes the rewinding of the stably unwound DNA. The antibody also shows a reaction to the denatured protein.
