- Specificity:
- This antribody is specific for the G2 domain of nidogen-1. It binds in such a way that it is able to stop the binding of nidogen to laminin. Nidogen-1 is a sulfated glycoprotein widely distributed in basement membranes and tightly associated with laminin. Also binds to collagen IV and perlecan. It probably has a role in cell-extracellular matrix interactions.
