- Specificity:
- This antibody is specific for the HN protein of Sendai virus (SeV). The Sendai virus is a single stranded RNA virus from the family Paramyxoviridae, that replicates in the respiratory tract and primarly effects mammals including mice, hamsters, rats and guinea pigs. It is highly contangagious and is transmitted by aerosol and contact with respiratory secretions mostly among animals in the wild.
