- This antibody is specific towards nucleophasmin which is a widely expressed phosphorylated protein involved in various processes, such as ribosome assebly and transport, cell proliferation, protein chaperoning and centrosome duplication. Aberrations involving nucleophasmin are found in multiple conditions, for instance in a form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma or acute promyelocytic leukemia.
