- Is specific for the human apolipoprotein E antigen, and appears to be sensitive to lysine modifications and binds very poorly to carbamylated Apo E. The epitope corresponds to the LDLr binding site on Apo E, and incorporation into lipid vesicles does not affect its immunoreactivity.
