- FvCA4 was shown to exhibit a high affinity for F. verticilliodes cell wall-bound proteins using ELISA with both soluble antibody fragment or phage-expressed antibody (Hu et al, 2012). Again shown by ELISA, FvCA4 cross-reacted with several other Fusarium species, but not with non-Fusarium fungi.
