Specificity:: This antibody is specific for very virulent IBDV (vvIBDV). It exclusively recognises vvIBDV strains, and does not cross-react with classical, variant or vaccine strains. It is able to bind vvIBDV strains from a wide variety of countries of origin. This antibody recognises a highly conformational epitope within the hypervariable region of the IBDV VP2 protein.
