- Specificity:
- This antibody defines the e-antigen determinant HBe-B Beta, and is specific for unassembled dimers. Two copies of the antibody are able to bind captured HBeAg dimers, indicating two accessible epitopes per dimer. E6 binding is inhibited by other members of the e-B Beta-reactive group of Mabs, namely e4, e8 and e9.
