Recombinant Human DNA Polymerase beta is produced by our E.coli expression system and the target gene encoding Ser2-Glu335 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. Human DNA polymerase beta is constitutively expressed in cells. It fills in gaps in DNA that are formed following base excision repair. The activity cannot be affected by Aphidicolin; which is an inhibitor of DNA polymerase beta.
