- Source: Escherichia Coli.Sterile filtered colorless solution.Protease Serine 7; also known as PRSS7; is in charge of initiating the activation of pancreatic proteolytic proenzymes such as trypsin; chymotrypsin and carboxypeptidase A. PRSS7 catalyzes the conversion of trypsinogen to trypsin which in turn activates other proenzymes including chymotrypsinogen; procarboxypeptidases; as well as proelastases.PRSS7 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated; polypeptide chain containing 237 amino acids (785-1019 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 26.4kDa. The PRSS7 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
