While CYP2E1 is implicated in the oxidative metabolism of small range substrates; commonly small polar molecules; there are many significant drug interactions which are mediated by CYP2E1.CYP2E1 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 488 amino acids (29-493 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 56.2kDa. CYP2E1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
