It binds to receptor vegfr-1/flt1.PLGF-2 binds neuropilin-1 and 2 in a heparin-dependent manner.PLGF2 Human Recombinant (19-170 a.a.) produced in CHO is a disulfide-linked homodimeric; glycosylated; polypeptide chain containing 152 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 33kDa.The PLGF-2 Human Recombinant protein is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

- Lyophilized PLGF-2 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks; should be stored desiccated below -18[o]C. Upon reconstitution PLGF2 should be stored at 4[o]C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18[o]C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
