The versatility of BDNF is emphasized by its contribution to a range of adaptive neuronal responses including long-term potentiation (ltp); long-term depression (ltd); certain forms of short-term synaptic plasticity; as well as homeostatic regulation of intrinsic neuronal excitability.BDNF Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 140 amino acids (129-247 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 15.8kDa. BDNF is fused to a 21 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
