Furthermore; ACVRL1 shares similar domain structures with other closely related ALK or activin receptor-like kinase proteins which form a subfamily of receptor serine/threonine kinases.ACVRL1 produced in Sf9 Insect cells is a single; glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 103 amino acids (22-118a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 11.5kDa. (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 18-28kDa).ACVRL1 is expressed with a 6 amino acid His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
