- Extra Details:
- Source : Escherichia Coli. Polyvalent dengue antigens are 18kDa proteins containing subtype 1;2;3 and 4. They are anew group of antigens specifically designed for ELISA assay. Except common epitopes shared by each subtype; this group of peptides also contains subtype specific epitopes; sometimes OD value peaks at one individual subtype. Dengue infection may miss without including all four subtype antigens. All the recombinant peptides are fused with a 6xHis Tag. Polyvalent dengue is purified by proprietary chromatographic technique. The product is supplied in 4 different vials; 1 for each subtype; when ordering 100ug; you will receive 4x25ug/vial (1 vial/subtype). Caused by one of four closely related virus serotypes of the genus Flavivirus; family Flaviviridae; each serotype is sufficiently different that there is no cross-protection and epidemics caused by multiple serotypes (hyperendemicity) can occur. In cell culture experiments and mice Morpholino antisense oligos have shown specific activity against Dengue virus.
