ZMAT3 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 312 amino acids (1-289) and having a molecular mass of 34.4kDa.ZMAT3 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. ZMAT3 is a protein with a nuclear localization signal and 3 zinc finger domains. The mRNA and the protein of this gene are upregulated by wildtype p53. When overexpressed; ZMAT3 can produce tumor cell growth; indicating that ZMAT3 takes part in the p53-dependent growth regulatory pathway. Alternative splicing of ZMAT3 produce two transcript variants encoding two isoforms differing in only one amino acid.
