- Source : Escherichia Coli. WWC1 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is. a single polypeptide chain containing 152 amino acids (655-783) and having a molecular mass of 17kDa. WWC1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. WW and C2 Domain Containing 1 (WWC1) is a cytoplasmic phosphoprotein which interacts with PRKC-zeta and dynein light chain-1. WWC1 takes part in cognition and memory performance. In some individuals; alleles of WWC1 have enhanced memory.
