About this Product

- Additional Names:
- Toll-interacting protein||TOLLIP||IL-1RAcPIP.
- Extra Details:
- Source : Escherichia Coli. TOLLIP produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 294 amino acids (1-274 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 32.4kDa.TOLLIP is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Toll interacting protein (TOLLIP) is an inhibitory adaptor protein within Toll-like receptors. The TLR pathway is a part of the innate immune system which recognizes structurally conserved molecular patterns of microbial pathogens; initiating an inflammatory immune response. Negative regulation of TLR signaling by TOLLIP might restrict the production of proinflammatory mediators during inflammation and infection. Furthermore; TOLLIP forms a complex with Tom1 to regulate endosomal transferring of ubiquitinated proteins.
