THYN1 produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 245 amino acids (1-225a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 27.8kDa.THYN1 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. THYN1; is greatly conserved among vertebrates and plant types. TYHN1 takes part in the induction of apoptosis. THYN1 in the thymocytes was primarily found in the nucleus; as shown in lymphoma cells; demonstrating that the THYN1 is localized in the nucleus; regardless of the cyclic or resting stage of the cell cycle.
