THAP7 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. THAP Domain Containing; Apoptosis Associated Protein 7 (THAP7) holds one THAP-type zinc finger. THAP7 is a chromatin-associated; histone tail-binding protein which represses transcription by recruiting HDAC3 and nuclear hormone receptor corepressors.
