TCEA2 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 322 amino acids (1-299 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 36kDa.TCEA2 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Transcription Elongation Factor A (SII)- 2 (TCEA2) is located in the nucleus; where it serves as an SII class transcription elongation factor. Elongation factors in this class are responsible for discharging RNA polymerase II ternary complexes from transcriptional arrest at template-encoded arresting sites. TCEA2 interacts with general transcription factor IIB; a basal transcription factor.
