SSBP1 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 155 amino acids (17-148 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 17kDa.SSBP1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Single-Stranded DNA Binding Protein 1 (SSBP) participates in mitochondrial biogenesis. SSBP binds preferentially and cooperatively to ss-DNA. The SSBP protein is involved in mitochondrial DNA replication and associates with mitochondrial DNA.
