PPP1R3B Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 308 amino acids (1-285) and having a molecular mass of 35.1 kDa.PPP1R3B is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Protein Phosphatase 1; Regulatory Subunit 3B (PPP1R3B) is the catalytic subunit of the serine/theonine phosphatase; protein phosphatase-1. PPP1R3B; which is expressed both in liver and in skeletal muscle tissue; regulates glycogen synthesis in these tissues. PPP1R3B is involved in type 2 diabetes and maturity-onset diabetes of the young.
