- Source : Escherichia Coli. POLR2C Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 298 amino acids (1-275a.a) and having a molecular mass of 33.8kDa. POLR2C is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Polymerase (RNA) II (DNA directed) Polypeptide C (POLR2C) is the 3rd largest subunit of RNA polymerase II. The product of POLR2C consists of a cysteine rich area and exists as a heterodimer with an additional polymerase subunit; POLR2J. Those 2 subunits shape a core subassembly unit of the polymerase.
